Situational Leadership II Training

Mark Freado previously worked for Pressley Ridge for  twenty years in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.   During that time he gained valuable experience and knowledge in the design, development, implementation and management of a wide range of services for troubled and troubling youth and their families.  He also provided leadership in the West Virginia Child Care Association for six years as a member of the executive committee and two years as its president.  Between 1995 and 2004 Freado founded, led and was principal trainer for Growing Edge Training Associates, providing training and consultation services to an international clientele of public and private organizations and schools.  He has now returned to Pressley Ridge as Director of Re-EDucation Training and Consultation. 

Freado has a clear track record of leadership in developing and implementing creative, effective services based on the needs and interests of the systems in which they operate and those they serve.  He and a colleague in the Pressley Ridge Institute are certified as trainers of Situational Leadership II by the Ken Blanchard Co.  He also served on numerous local and state committees for policy and service development.   Since August, 1996 he has provided leadership to the American Re-EDucation Association, serving as its executive director.
